Ok, so I have a list of bugs that I've encountered but first I want to say excellent excellent job, I love the new UI, the duty officer system, and I have hopes for the dilithium but haven't gotten to do much with it yet. Great work, can't wait to see more!!!!
On to the bugs, the first thing I noticed is that Stop the signal is bugged, not only when I tried to upload the computer, but also with the dreadnought at the end, the only way to beat it is by teaming. I did get past the uploading computer problem by logging out and back in.
The second thing I noticed was that when I tried to report these bugs, the system timed out and wouldn't let me.
Now's where it gets weird, and I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem. Once I reached Lt. Commander rank, I got my dilithium and continued to gain skill points from missions but none of the Lt. Commander skill sets are open to me, I can still spend the skill points but on Lt. skills only. I'm going to try to get to Commander and see if that opens up to me.
In War is good for business I noticed that I couldn't scan the frieghters if I was moving, the box would come up and I would click it or press F and it would start to scan but would cut out, Iif I stopped all motion then I could scan the frieghters. I
I continue to check but I still can't submit any tickets in-game.
The client crashed twice after I wrote that last post. I also got the history 102 mission from Starfleet Academy, but failed it, and now I can't drop the mission.
Ok, so I had an epiphany last night and tried this morning. As it turns out the Lt. Commander skill tree did not open to me because I had not spent the required amount of skill points on Lt. This problem had never occured before because I HAD to spend the points to get promoted. I also went back and tried the History 102 mission again (remember I couldn't drop it after failing it yesterday) well the NPC who originally gave me the mission gave me an opportunity to restart it. I passed it this time but I am now thinking that I'll have to go back to him the next time I fail it and maybe he'll restart it or drop it for me. Either way, I didn't know I had to return to him until my objective panel told me to, when I fail it the objectives don't say to return to dude, they just tell me I failed and to get "help" next time, it was cute but having the failed mission in my objectives all day yesterday was annoying.
Going back to the skill tree though, nothing told me I had to spend the points to open up the new tier, the only reason I did was because that is what you do when you respec and I thought I'd give it a try (this could have been pointed out in the tutorial as I skipped most of the dialogue boxes there). Anyway, I thought if it's a problem for me, it probably is a problem for some others and my experience may help and inform the devs (I feel like an idiot, plus now an even bigger one for advertising my errors).
