Tribble Breeding Not Working

No matter what I feed the lowest level tribbles I pick up from combat, none will breed higher level of tribbles. Anyone getting the same problem?

    Working for me, bought a bunch of saurian brandy at Club 47 in Earth Spacedock and got about 5 (mat) in an afternoon.

    I keep getting Stahl, Dot and Spa with 64% food.

    Mr Stahl, could you kindly have different babies?

    Same here. Will experiment more. Perhaps the 'recipes' have been mucked up?

    Looks like the first breeding level (dot/spar/stah --> thomp/vit/sus) is stuck for some of us. :(
    I'm still generating a massive amount of dot/spar/stah...

    So far i've also been stuck with only the tier 1 tribbles regardless of foods. But i have noticed that there are various tribble "gene splicing" assignments in the DOff system that require low end tribbles, but so far have not seen any using a tier 1 and resulting in a tier 2 or higher, but i will keep looking. Maybe the food breeding for specific tribbles has been replaced by DOff missions?

    Just had a thought (sorry if I'm duplicating anyone else here) but what if tribble breeding isn't actually replaced by the DOff missions, but we now have to complete the breeding assignment for each new tier/variant to be able to breed them now? If that makes any sense...

    Tested some more.

    You can only make "mat" tribble with specific food items, and "triolic" tribble with the comet drink.
    All other tribble breeding recipes are not working...

    I hope this is just an F2P beta issue.

    We'll look into this. There were some additions made to the data, but nothing that should have affected existing Tribble breeding functionality.

    I noticed this too, and was wondering if it had something to do with the doff assignments, since several assignments involved gene splicing the tribbles I was trying to breed with.

    It wouldn't be the genesplicing assignments, if in fact it was the duty officer system, but rather the cannibal Tribbles.

    I'll just throw in and confirm also that I've been unable to breen any tribbles except for more lower level tribbles, with the exception of getting Triolic tribbles from the Comet Cocktails.

    Why not add a tribble vendor, some relation to Cyrano Jones maybe, on K7, at least to provide the first 3 tiers of tribble for ec/dilithium/gpl?

    Where have all the Tribbles gone?

    Almost Commander 3 and have yet to even recieve a tribble..

    I was beginning to think that I was getting Particle Fragments in lieu of Tribbles...

    Now that we have a dev looking at one of the Tribble threads here is what's happening:
    Tier 1 Tribbles only breed other Tier 1, [Mat] by feeding them the proper food directly or Triolic Tribbles.
    Looting Tier 2 Tribbles from the Minos Corva mission in Cardassian space (which is the only place I know to loot them) also only produce Tier 1, no matter what you feed them.
