Particle Fragment

I just got a Particle FRAGMENT* as a drop; is that supposed to happen? I've never seen that happen before...

The icon is the same that's used for the (old) Bridge Officers.

    Nope its a bugged drop, shouldnt be dropping yet... Gozer said its for a event later on

    Okay. Another weird thing is that they seem to get consumed by themselves at any given point.

    yea i just got 6 of them from one mission, soon as it was over they all consumed themselves

    Weird thing though, I just got completed the first Commendation level for Diplomacy and when I selected the female Orion duty officer, she had the same icon as these Particle Fragments and not the newer looking icons that the bridge officers have. Perhaps in the scheme of things it's intentional; probably a good idea to easily tell BOFFS and DOFFS apart at a moments glance. I still get a number of the BOFF power icons mixed up in the middle of battle.

    When you get it sell it before it degrades. I think it's 40 credits or something like that.
