Orion Light Carrier and Nausican Escorts

    Looks nice, but as we IMO have to pay for them in C-Store, sorry, not interested.
    One of them is the Enterprise Era one which is play stupidly flying flipped to one side.

    My favorite character is an orion who flies carriers, so couldn't be happier. I hope these aren't low tier ships.

    Then again, Guramba is a terrible ship, and I'm not too keen on Orion cruiser except for the looks either. Klingon record is not so hot on store ship front.

    The Marauder is also getting changed to a single hanger flight deck cruiser/light carrier, though that change has not happened yet.

    I hope they will be low tier ships as that means the time spent leveling up you can have other then Klingon ships to fly. We already have endgame ships for the Orion, Nausicaan and Gorn. Would be nice to have some earlier too.

    I woud second this.

    It would have been nice levelling my non klingons if I had been able to do so without the need for using a klingon ship. i.e an orions levelling using all orion ships etc..

    I imagine it will happen in time as ever, however.

    The new non-Klingon KDF ships become available at 21 and 31. Additional cap-tier ships will appear, but not in this batch; this set is focused on filling out the lower tiers to provide options in preparation for F2P.

    Hey Heretic, will these CMDR and CAPT level ships run the same gambit as the Venture and Vor'Kang, as in they unlock skins to use on later ships? I'm thinking strictly of the Gran Hippo, of course...

    I do not believe these unlock skins usable for later tier ships, at least not at this point. Captain Logan would know for sure, though.

    OMG that is a relief. Wish I have had access to them when I leveled up my Orion. Will there be Leethan ships and BOffs too soon?

    The Nausicaan ships, why aren't they using the existing artwork? The Pico Distress Call mission has 3 ships they could immediately work from, the Destroyer Escort, which looks like a Naussican take on the Defiant, the Siphon Frigate, and a Battleship (whose name escapes me... Talon?) that looks like a huger version of the Grumbah.

    Yes, I don't know why they can't make those ships available as well. Sure they might have to rework them to give them more details but that should be enough.

    Lethean bridge officers...yes. And, they can get the Efficient trait.

    We've talked about Lethean ships, but there are no plans for them in the immediate future; we're still up to our eyeballs with the current set. Things can always change, however.

    Captain Logan is a perfectionist. :cool: I originally asked him for these, and said I was perfectly fine with the existing ship models, but he wanted to make them better.

    And, oh man did he make them better...

    Nausican Escorts

    These are reskinned version of the Nausican Siphon frigates.
    Think of them as Refits of the Siphons, repurposed to Escorts.
    They are still the same basic design, just much prettier.

    I would LOVE a nausican Talon Battleship refit btw Logan! ;)

    i dont think it will pass for an escort, but a cruiser with the excelsior's stats is long overdue for the kdf...

    AWESOME!! I Luv his reskinning of the Siphon Frigates. I can't wait to see what he can do with the Talon oneday!
