I am so sick of playing a game where one faction is not only CLEARLY favored over the other, but even when things do get evened out, they are still slanted. example 1: kdf sci ships, we had none (carrier is heavy sci but not a true science) so we get ONE! ok well still ty...awww fed sci +15 pwr to aux kdf +10 fed sci +30% to shields kdf 20%, oh we have more hull on ours you say 1500 hmmm a mk vi torp or a weak BA and there is your extra hull, but 10% shields is about 600 per facing as well as more regen (using the borg shield) ok now let us talk about example #2: har'peng's feds get a nice toy that was broken so even when HE was used, it still hurt like a tric, ok nerf #1 occurs, then they are still deemed OP so then they come out with nerf#2, ok well STILL OP they come out with nerf#3 to prevent multiple torps, oh ok they are somewhat useless now, let's make them avail. to the kdf, aww thanks so much. ok now let's talk consoles for example #3 shall we; a nifty sci console for use when hurting and need to run away, or a scramble sensor AND jam sensor combo that is worse then SS3 as far as missed sci team uses AND evasive misfires, we get...a console that can chain electricity WITH AN ARC and if they have shields doesn't hurt so bad, so to this game and all who love it play fed or risk being hated, not by the community at large, but rather when it cones to nifty toys and nice gadgets open your wallet and log in your feds, those in the community that know me know i am rather even tempered but for me to get this enraged and fed up to rant here in the forums know, i have been pushed too far. give us equal rights, or just get rid of the kdf faction quit making us feel like second class citizens, practice what the federation preaches "inalienable human rights to all species of the universe" thank you for your time, and have a wonderful day(as long as you have your fed toon ready to go)

True, we have few choices for Science toons currently. More our in design and may make an appereance soon(tm). Specifically New Gorn vessels slanted to be science specific and not Faux-Sci.
I too am not happy with the past treatment of the Vov, but this vessel also (as well the Kar'fi) are slated for improvements in pet AI, pet control and a little buffing to boot.

ok now let us talk about example #2: har'peng's feds get a nice toy that was broken so even when HE was used, it still hurt like a tric, ok nerf #1 occurs, then they are still deemed OP so then they come out with nerf#2, ok well STILL OP they come out with nerf#3 to prevent multiple torps, oh ok they are somewhat useless now, let's make them avail. to the kdf, aww thanks so much.
Why are you surprised that once the Peng came back into its creators hands (so to speak) its was nerfed in function. Why do you think it was becuase of the KDF?
Granted many of us where chomping at the bit to use them and extract a measure of payback, but I doubt it was nerfed due to that.

On the Consoles, I can not say why it was nerfed and the other buffed.
I can say I find the AMS to be an annoyance and little more.

    Welcome to the KDF?

Thanks for forgetting that they finally buffed my Guramba even if they miiight have accidently overlooked something that nerfed the Javelin. I suspect they will find that and fix it. (Probably happened when they shortened its discharge time somehow. At least it has not misfired once since the change.)

The Isometric charge needs a fix for certain. It is too weak. However, the new Antimatter spread makes me LOL... You clearly have not really thought that through. Why? Well let me tell you.

It comes on a Cruiser and can ONLY be on a Cruiser... Cruisers struggle to kill a wet paper bag. Moreover there is no real reason to fight them in most PvP unless they are the only available targets. They are meant to tank damage and do it pretty well but what they need is NOT more of an excuse to NOT target them they need more of a reason TO target them. I mean I will admit this is fairly mean on a Dread and poooosssibly on a Separated Galaxy but besides those it is nothing I would personally worry about in the slightest. Also if you hit them with Scramble first then you can laugh as they hit their friends with it.

Seems how so many of the KDF cannot pry themselves out of those balsawood and rice paper BoP's here is a little trick. Load up a BoP with Scramble and Tyken's II. Have your main force begin the attack. If you think a Cruiser has this little toy then have your BoP fly in just outside of range and drop its sci abilities, take a pot shot at the Cruiser getting within range to see if you can fool him into detonating it and then you sweep back out and cloak. Now you have a disabled and confused enemy and have expended their toy with no harm to you.

IF they increase the damage of the Isometric Charge or give it disabling effects then it will be the far superior Console in this grouping. The Science Console that lets Science Ships run away is fairly Eh but I suppose on one ship in particular it can be annoying and let's be honest: Science ships should be Target #1 so not being able to kill them really DOES matter.

Look, I feel you, I do. I too am tired of the way the KDF has been.. Relegated.. To it's current priority.

But this isn't the way to do it.

Rants don't get us anything but blocked.

Put your thoughts forth in a constructive, polite manner will get you way farther than rants will.

As to the KDF Science Vessels.. Well.. I'm actually not for KDF Science Vessels in any way, shape, or form. Why? because BoPs. That's why.

We have a unique type of vessel available to us, with unique enhancements and abilities, able to fill any role she's put to.. That more than makes up for the lack of Science Vessels to my mind.

If/when the UFP gets raider-craft, then I'll be behind KDF Science Vessels.. But I'm against a Fed Raider too.

Hey, heres an idea...quit playing. Take a break. Come back next year when they have added more Klingon specific content and rolled klink starting level back to one.

You'll feel better, not so rant-ie. It isn't healthy to get so worked up over a video game.

    You Might want to Add.

    Some Spaces Between the Points.

    Make it Easy to Read.

haiku aside..... if I were to read this out loud, it would get close to my Auctioneer Voice to say it all in one Breath.

You do make some valid points.

May I suggest an read of Peregrine_Falcons History of the KDF and Cryptic

Devs said that open PvP would be a problem.
I think they will be much more concerned in the future with how they can grab as much cash from us players then to design new content.

Not wanting to pick at open wounds (ooh scabs) but wasn't a test done a while back to determine this?
What was the verdict? and is it a truelly devastating find or more the impression and skill of the users that make the difference?
