Hello fellow KDF

I do know, Klingons don't need 'healers' and I might have dis-honour myself, but...

Lucky me, I'm a joint Trill :p

I should hit LG1 this weekend and need some advice on my 'final' build.

The main pourpose of the Char should be STF/PvE ( NOT PvP :D )

I want to optimize Dmg vs Healing, with the focus towards healing / support.

What will be the optimized ship for this pourpose and why?
- Advice to power distribution / weapon load out would be appriciated

What (boff) skills should be there and why (under consideration of the ship chosen)?

===== This are my current toughts =====

For PvE and STFs I think you can ditch the Science team. Transfer shield strength will give you or an ally more shields.

If you want to heal their are some must haves. Eng team, Aux2SIF, Extend shields, Transfer shield, Hazard emitter, for STFs throw in a tac team.

    Something like,

Tac team 1, high yield 2

    Weapons 1, Eng team 2, Aux2SIF 2, Extend 3
    Eng team 1, Shields 2, DEM 2

    Hazard 1, Transfer shield 2

Should work out ok, add in whatever ensign you have. As far as a carrier goes, idk, don't really fly them.

Getting good damage and good healing I find to be a hard thing to do. If you focus on healing/support I think beams would be the best way to go. Then I don't really see DEM 2 helping you all that much, maybe if you were using Fire at Will or Rapid Fire with cannons.

I find two dual beam banks, a beam array and torp up front and 3 arrays, torp in the rear to be fine as a healer.

I always use 100/50/25/25 for power setting. Putting efficiency points in engines, Aux and shields. With an aux boosting console or 2, or a power to aux 1, the Aux2SIF 2 should be strong. Extend 3 should be good with shields in the 60s or higher with power to shields. And your sustained damage will be good with 100 to weapons.

As for what ship to use. For PvE you don't really need a cloak so the Marauder would be best. I don't use it myself but it works for most. I'm the kind of crazy that flies a Vor'cha refit as a healer in PvP.
