Normally I'm complaining about something when I post but not this time. I hadn't touched my KDF character for a while mostly due to lack of conent (Yes that old line) but last night decided to give it a run.

After beaming down to the First City I was quite stunned. Not only did it look like a city should, it had the feel of a city. I was most impressed and found the touring the city missions great, Slums, Red Light District, Financial District. An unbelievable improvement over the old.

Not only that I was rather blown away by what you have done to the Gorn. My Gorn BO looks amazing, highly realistic and quite menacing now instead of a cartoon lizard. lol

So just a little note to say Well Done Cryptic on these improvements. I hope you get new content out soon of this standard...

Awesome, we got a Flea Market.
The first thing i think of when i think of Klingons, is Flea markets.;)
Don't get me wrong, The new First City is really nice looking,I love what you've done with the place.
It's just that you'd think maybe the Klingon Empire would have discovered stores by now. We do have warp drive, Cloaking Devices, & massive Carriers. But we haven't figured out Wal-Mart yet?
The rest of First city is Excellent, but every time I see those vendor stalls, I feel like I'm in Fallujah.

Not every species developed they in the same way as mankind. Shopping malls, retail outlets, fast food chains and urban sprawl are the direct result of the automobile, we built our cities and economic system around cars. The Klingon's economy is feudal in nature and tied more closely with the Houses, trade would exist but not to our current scale, most of the time the Klingon Great Houses would be raiding each other. At one point they may have developed ICE (Internal Combustion Engines) for transporting goods and warfare purposes but never milked as much as we did in the 21st century.

Just don't copy me, when they let us KDF players make our own stores in the first city mine will be called Gagh'O Bell which will be merged with my friends restraunt called Rura Penthe Fried Targ. The real reason earth and qo'nos have different ways is because some Klingon Warrior slayed the leader of the high council and took his place before such dishonor could occur :) LOL

    Nah.

Sorry, i didn't mean to nitpick. I had just left Qonos like 5 minutes before seeing your thread, & it was on my mind.
& I appreciate what they did also.

But we haven't figured out Wal-Mart yet?

The very first and last Walmart on Qo'noS closed when the 'official greeter' attacked the first shopper in the door with a bat'leth. Seems something was mentioned about standing around and saying hello to people was dishonorable, etc, etc..
