KDF Ground missions lighting

I have the same vidio setting for Fed and KDF yet the KDF looks a lot duller. I cannot see any detail on my guys. Its like they are always in the shadow , anyway to fix this?

    I think it is the Klingon presence that causes the lighting to dim and the mood to become somber if not sinister. ;)

    My Orion is always in a halo of light, and I see her features just fine. :)

    I've noticed on some away exploration missions, some planets seem to have tons of dense fog or whatever that darkens everything. Doing those are annoying. I've seen it on both fed & klink side, though.

    Ok I just started the Breen series on my KDF , the first planet Iand on (Defera) I can see every detail on my guys. I think they made the ground missions KDF side dull and dark to give it a "evil" feel.
