Need help from a fellow Kilngon

Hello there.

I have a Klingon character named Tsukare, and I am trying to train his bridge officers with Shield recharge 3, and medical tricorder 3. Unfortunately, as I am a tactical captain, I cannot do this. So, I have been shouting on Qo'nos for the past few days asking if anybody has personal shields or physiology to 9, and I have received no response whatsoever.

So, that brings me to the forums. If you have a Klingon character with personal shields or physiology to 9, please let me know. Leave a post with your name, and I will send you a tell in game and we can set up a meeting. I will pay you for your time.

I can't help you directly as my KDF char is a tactical as well. However, you might be able to find an officer with those skills that you can purchase off the exchange and then use that BO to train up the BO you want to have the skill. Unfortunately, the exchange doesn't let you search by skill so you will have to just look at them all to see which ones have the skill.

Unfortunately, these skills can only be trained by a captain of the appropriate rank and class. They are not on the exchange (as far as I am aware). And there seems to be no practical way to find captains with these skills other than shouting into chat which doesn't seem to be working.

Now if these officers could be put on the exchange, and the exchange had some sort of sorting system, then that would be good. But alas, cryptic hasn't gotten to that yet. So, I am trying the message boards instead.

*shoves it to the Empire side of things*
Mind, I'd suggest trying to find someone who has a name amongst players or turning to a known and well-established fleet in the Empire.

Keep in mind that someone could just take your officers and leave. Being careful is what is needed here.
And we cannot help in many of these cases. :(

The fleet I belong to has a relatively healthy FED and KDF side. I have helped level almost every single BG-LTG character on the KDF side. If you want to find more about us, google us or follow the link...

My KDF main is a Liberated Borg Klingon Science Officer, and I am more than willing to help any warrior in need. I cannot say for certain that he is trained to max rank in Physiology, but I have a few Respec tokens left, and I'm amazed that I haven't thought to train my Science Boffs in MTIII, so it's a win-win.

I will be on as soon as I get home, assuming the Emergency Maintenance is over & done with.

I have a KDF engineer, who also happens to be a genuine Klingon male - guess that makes him a little rare, which is good as I'd hate to be common...

Unfortunately, as a dedicated space PvPer, he has virtually zero points in ground skills, so I don't think I could be of much use to the OP, sorry.

One of *many* reasons why the way BOFFs are trained *needs* to be reworked and fixed. Having a way to train BOFFs without trading them is *sorely* needed.

Problem is that the skill points aren't seperated from ground and space. Usually people don't bother spending a lot of points on ground skills since most of the space skills are way more important.

Honestly, only if you space PVP. Another reason for most people not speccing ground is that they tend to skip/avoid doing ground.

Space is much easier than ground, even at higher difficulty levels, that you can be mis or under specced for space and do quite well. if you're underspecced for ground, it usually leads to an NPC slaughter of the away team.
