As per a request from my girlfriend (the one who seems to love to take my characters and make them all 'pretty' and 'cute'), does any one know if the option for Velour typoe clothes or customes will come out any time soon?

That was the first thing I thought of when I saw "velour" in the title, as well. Also, I've been trying to make a Kif Kroker-like character. I think I'll work on that tonight. :D

Kif seems more 1st Officer material, or possibly 2nd. Zapp would be the first to tell you he's man enough to take up two slots on the ship's roster.

So, material options would be "Glossy", "Matte", and "Shrinking Velour"?

According to Justman/Solow's book Inside Star Trek: The Real Story, the velour uniforms shrank every time they were cleaned. The actors' union requirements specified that the costumes had to be cleaned daily.

That sure explains why DOOP's military uniforms all ended up looking like skants.

Except that "matte" is not a "material".
Leather, verlours, cloth is a material, and should look differnt, removing reflections is just cheap IMHO.

    Live long and prosper.

Aren't the in-game tailor options currently "glossy" and "matte"? I'd check, but I'm on a Mac right now...
