LTG Ships

Hi all,

About to hit LT General and am curious which ship choices are 'only free once' with an LT Gen ship token, and which will still be available for EC afterwards

For example, as a Fed VA you could choose the Def-R Gal-R or the LRSV-R, but after you choose you are stuck with your choice unless you want to pony up $$ or sometimes 'lots' of emblems. Pretty much all other T5 ships could be bought by EC

So looking for what the equivalent klink choices are.

    Tactical - Siege Destroyer

    Engineer - Marauder

    Science - K. Carrier & V. Carrier, Veranus, & B'Rel Retrofit

    Which ones can only be obtained with the LT GEN ship token, 500 emblems, or C-store cash?

    Correct me if I am wrong,

    2000 Tokens, or 500 Emblems:

    Siege Destroyer - unlocked on all LT Gen. characters on an account.

    1200 Tokens, or 500 Emblems:

    Veranus, Marauder and the B'Rel - unlocked on all LT Gen. characters on an account.


    I purchased the Siege Destoyer and it was unlocked on all my characters.

    I purchased the Veranus and the Marauder, but on two of my toons I do not see them as a pickup, only on the toon with which I purchased them, so I can't be sure about that?

    Maybe I missed you point though? Do you mean when you hit LT Gen. do you get a ship token and can it be usd for one of the above? Sorry - can't remember!

    I think you can use your token on anything but the Garumba, but only the Negh'var and Vorc'cha-R crusiers, Vo'quv carrier and Qin raptor are available for ECs.

    Just hit LT Gen so the choices are clear now at the shipyard

    Seems the 'get it while it's hot and you have a token' choices are varanus, marauder, Brel-r, karfi carrier. The Garumba sadly is not available with a token and needs like 800 plus emblems or I presume a c-store purchase

    Well, I never tried the Guramba myself but I've read from people that while it's fun, it's untimately not more useful than a Raptor and possibly even slightly less.
    Assuming it's possible you might want to try it out on Tribble before spending money on something that's not worth your attention.

    Buying ships with emblems unlocks them on the character that purchased it, not account wide. The Guramba costs 830 emblems, not 500.

    Technically, the only real LTG ships are the Orion Cruiser, the Kar´Fi Carrier, the B´rel and the Varanus Support vessel. They are available for the LTG ship token. Buying them from the c-store unlocks them for all LTG characters on an account.

    The Guramba is only available for emblems or through the store.

    Wait, we can try C-store ships on Tribble before getting them?

    I'm not sure if you can try existing c-store ships out on tribble if you don't have them unlocked on your account (I'm sure someone knowledgeable will enlighten us shortly) but you can usually try out new c-store ships on tribble before they go live and hit holodeck.

    What you can do though, is copy over your char from holodeck to tribble before you use your LG ship token and then purchase one of the LG ships with your ship token. Try it out, then delete your char off of tribble, re-copy him and purchase a different LG ship to try and repeat until you are happy with which one to pick on your live char.
