New K't'inga contest

You know this has probably already been discussed but I couldn't find any reference to it anywhere.

It just hit me... There was a contest to design the new Enterprise. Well, what about a contest to design a new K't'inga? This ship is by far a favourite of Klingon players. It has mentioned time and time again that we want a REAL K't'inga (you know, the one with the engineering dome on its belly and the bigger bridge, and glowing nacelles, etc...). The K't'inga is to the Klingon Empire what the Enterprise is to the Federation. A symbol. And I wouldn't mind a Qo'noS wa' (Kronos One) skin.

My own drawing skills are hmm... nonexistent but I am quite certain that some of you have ideas for a beautiful new Klingon ship that would capture the essence of the Klingon people: courage, determination, strength and above all else, honour.

    A: While we are not going to be running another contest for a Fan submitted Klingon vessel, we are going to be adding more ships to the KDF lineup during Season 4.

    So while a cool idea (though I could not participate) it seems not possible at the moment.

    Thanks for the info. I've seen 2 BoP skins of Tribble that I like but no other ships. At least it's nice to know that more ships are in the works.

    Did you know that the K'Tinga's forward command module was design to be detachable during combat? Imagine how cool it would be if the command module detached into an escort and the main hull serves as a defensive cruiser for it. Also, it housed cryo-genic units for the detachment of assault Marines. Would be niffy to have something along those lines.

    Yip I have just about all of it - 11gigs to be precise! There are so many other awesome ships to choose from! But, the K'Tinga is still majestic.

    Yeah, Cryptic said there isn't going to be another ship design contest. But hopefully they do reconsider, after all it's a regular design contest isn't exactly the same as making an "Enterprise". ;)


    But if they did have a 25th Century K'T'inga Design, I'd love to enter my Qib'elth-class Battlecruiser

    (PS: The latest version has a different Command Module).


    Of course with me being a runner-up in the Enterprise Design Contest, I wouldn't be allowed to enter if the contest was held earlier than December. :(
