MK XII [any] rare vs Mk X [borg] ship weapons

Hi,

May be somebody has experience about the the MK XII rare against MK X [borg] ship weapons.
Is there any advantage of the borg edition ones? I dislike to spend a lot of emblems for nothing.

the MkXII are a bit more damaging, have a bonus to crit. hit chance and severity, along with general accuray... however, they are VERY rare drops, or insanely expensive on the exchange

the Borg MkX are roughly the same damage, have the bonus crit. hit chance and severity, and the unique radiation damage to Borg ships (note: some automatically cause the radiation, while others have a CHANCE to do this radiation damage)... however, you have to grind marks of valor or emblems to get them

personally, i find it cheaper and easier to just go with the Borg ones (they're the toughest enemies at max level anyway, you'll need all the help you can get ). plus, the boost to general accuracy isn't really worth the cost, on anything (you hit most of the time anyway)

Personally I use the MK XIIs..

Fun Fact: Uncommon MK XII Beam Array [CrtH] are more or less identical to a crafted MK XI Beam Array [Dmg] x2 [CrtH] - And its usually cheaper as well.. Rare MK XIIs beat any other weapon in the game, and they are the only truely rare item in the game. Therefore theyre usually priced accordingly. (I got lucky and bought 3 rare MK XII weapons for 3.5, 3.75 and 4.5 mil)
