Level up

greetings everyone!!

I am trying to level up my KDF player and I was just wondering if there were any daily missions that i could do that would help me. My toon is LTC 8. Also, what are some good ships to have for Commander and Captian? Thank you all for your help and opinion

    For the dailies, you've got the Pi Canis sorites and the FE dailies (three in Deferi space and one in the neutral zone). Until you hit BG I think that's it as far as dailies go (with the exception of PvP and exploration, that is). Of course, you can also rerun "one-of" missions as often as you want, as well.

    As far as choice of ship, that really depends on your play style. You can't go wrong with any of them.

    Welcome to the KDF!

    Don't forget Foundry Missions dailies, there's lots of really good stuff in there! And a very good way to keep the grind from wearing ya down.

    Pi Canis Sorties can be done every 30 minutes, so you can run them multiple times a day. But doing the optional objectives as part of the 'Path of the Warrior' (I think thats what it is called) daily is what gets you a lot of XP. But these are on a daily timer.

    There are many posts with many ideas all on how to level. I was just helping a person in my fleet today find the fastest way to level..You aren't going to like it, but grinding the PVE nebulae for space combat XP is the fastest..I gain a lvl every 45 mins to an hour...it's time-consuming work and at times frustrating but it is the fastest way. Pm me if you would like help.

    Neil,
    If you want to do missions, it is fine but consider this....
    Most missions are a combination of space, ground, and then space scenes taking about 15-30 minutes and giving you 300 xp. If you were to speak to Lt. Antenone who gives out explore nebulae...he gives 50-100 or so xp for doing 3 explores in nebulae. You get 120-180 xp for each explore you complete plus the reward xp. If you do nothign but space explores, you can finish those in 5-8 minutes. Doing this 3 times can take 15-20 minutes giving you 100-150 more xp than the story missions / mission replay.

    If you want to be able to find a fast way to get space explores, I have a pattern for you to follow...contact me in-game or in mail so I can better facilitate your needs.

    I originally grinded to the top the ol' fashioned way pvp-pvp-pvp at launch when i came back i started my tac alt kling and found that simply repeating featured episodes to gear my ship crew best i could at every tier transition made the rest of the tier a joke/faceroll. simply charging thru missions on autofire reaping the rewards you can have two boff running freeze guns and two running the aoe plasma gun from the first breen missions and sit back and snipe exposes for lols.

    space combat as well becomes funny just dropping exploration badges for your best disruptors and consoles makes it lols for space as well.

    by making it that you can just re-run episodes from your computer in the captains ready room leveling becomes pretty easy repetitive but easy and having that option to set yourself up for end game grind with that gear will make life alot easier.

    I had a fleetie that was oding what you proposed about the missions..Yeah, he came to me for help leveling yesterday afternoon......I helped him through 3.5 levels in about 2 hours. It was fun grinding these missions with him. If you would like me to assist you on an alt toon, feel free to let me know.

    that would be cool..contact me in game...i have been off and on due the kids being sick...i am now commander 2 ..doing some pve missions and some of the neblua missions..

    Re run the first 4 Devidian missions over and over. If you have a 3 or 4 man team all 4 episodes can be done inside of 30 minutes. Do the 1st and 4th missions and turn them in and then run the 2nd and 3rd as both require a trip to the other station to turn in the missions. The 1st two you did are about ready to be replayed.

    Also, the skill point boosters are a nice bonus. Try this ( don't leak it) run all missions you can but never turn them in. my best was 31 missions completed but not turned in. activate a skill booster and then turn in all missions and it somehow gives them all the 20% boost. Hush Hush now, but it will def help raise you faster. You make 9 levels and the 10th level is freebie basically. Also try running them on elite as the kill points are greater and I did an entire level off npc kills.

    LTR's recommendations are good. Teaming up with an LTG matched to your level reaaly helps with all the extra skills they have.

    When I leveled I alternated between Exploration sectors and Empire defense. In the beginning when there was mostly the Empire defense and pvp, it went very slow for me.

    I guess it will be even simpler with the dailies, yes. Especially those in the Klingon neutral zone, against the True Way. The Deferi ones as well should be nice.

    so what would be the quickest way to lvl up a LT5? so she can do the dailies or featured series, well anything actually. Not too keen on pvp.

    But nothing comes up

    I am going to give this a try, if you don't mind. Leveling a KDF toon myself right now and I have been stuck at LT CMDR for a while now.

    Using this method, I assisted 2 fleetmates get from LTCMDR to LTG in a few days....
