This sounds fantastic, I suppose it's a matter of how quickly they are able to get this out to us.
There may be a few content casualties - the tutorials were eating up a ton of time and not getting anything 'critical' into the game - but that doesn't mean Starfleet Academy and Klingon Academy aren't coming your way. They still are. And if you're a Klingon - you'll be getting full access to every sector in the game sometime during Season 4. As we do you'll get more and more access to patrols, DSE, Fleet Actions and new content events we have planned as well. Not to mention you'll need to keep the Borg from assimilating the Gorn. That should keep you pretty busy.

I want a KDF version of Diplomacy!
I leveled my KDF toons just in the off-chance they do anything cool...best to be prepared instead of viewing the side as something extra to do....
You might not view it this way, but I do. If you want a leveling friend, let me know buddy and I shall help. I have leveled 3 toons there in about 1 week each (roll to LTG)...I can help speed you up.

And KDF diplomacy is parking a Negh'var in orbit and not demolishing a few cities in return for concessions.

The Klingons are known for their ability to feast. Eat. DRINK. Seriously DRINK. And tell tales and basically ham it up like vikings.
This should be their non-combat alternative advancement focus.
So Starfleet gets Diplomacy.
The Romulan Empire obviously needs some sort of Espionage thing.
And the KDF gets to drink you under the table, like good Klingons should.
That's my story and I'm sticking with it.
Sounds like my kind of party...I hope we could be able to get some sort of accolade for drinking X amount of captains under the table in negotiations... Perhaps some could include some sort of Romulan trick...and slip something in the Fed's ale....I'd hate to be the bearer of bad news the next day to the captain..., "Sir, I am distressed to report that you are now married to the ox-faced daughter of some fat old Klingon in exchange for some access to a dilapidated dilithium mine"....lol
she might have the face of an ox but there hasnt been a young female klingon in any trek movie or show that didnt have a rocking fantastic body, slap a bag on her head and make that marriage work man!
That is all sorts of wrong man....just terribly wrong. :eek:
I want more stuff of wich I benefit more then nicer a nicer looking way to my bank once or twice a week.
Stuff like Uniforms (especially some already in game uniforms like the Mirror-uniforms or mercenary set), more ships, more ship costumisation, especially the old Hegh'ta model) ect.
But thats just me....
We all also want the customization...but it seems we are again on the back burner...It is almost offensive if you approach it from certain perspectives the way the development is proceeding. I feel underwhelmed as well with this season, but I cannot say if things will change...
I say delay the release of season 4 until we get 1/2 of what we are told we are supposed to get...or release seasons by 1/2...... Season 4...fed...season 4.5 or season 4 reloaded...KDF...or vice versa... That way, we know what to expect... And keep the game-changing things away from release until both sides have been completed...or release the game changing update until the 4.5/reloaded phase...

I didnt want to go into the Fed content versus Klingon content discussion, I believe that has been discussed more then enough, and after feds got stuff like Bajoran and Section 31 uniforms wich nobody really ever wantet before we got even ONE additional outfit I dont see any chance that THIS situation will EVER change.
My problem is that the little efford Cryptic invests into the KDF goes to the wrong places.
I mean, really.... Gorn? May be one out of 20 players I see are gorn. And I do not thing that number will increase much with better looking Gorn. But all KDF efford goes into stuff like gorn ect, not into things people actually ASKED for again and again.... like a K'Vort, t5 K'tinga, battle coat, ship custumisation, melee weapons like the Meg'leth, new costumes, and, like I said, several fed costumes that would work on KDF side too (in other words, everything that isnt a Starfleet uniform.)
Thats what people asked for. I'm in that forum and in the game since Beta and dont remember that anybody ever asked for better looking Gorn. And seen how many efford went into those gorn I believe half of the mentionet things could have been done INSTEAD of the new gorn.
A new Quo'nos might be nice, but it imo simply has a LOT less priority.
Don't forget singing battle songs. Got to have that in there as well.
There's definitely a strong skald (think cross of Viking & bard) vein in Klingon culture. They're the kind of guys who kill your whole society and then compose a song about how much they enjoyed great the pwning.
Yes, you are about correct in the skald...lol...they would be the ones to do just that. :eek: Now, to write a ballad about tribble stomping.....:rolleyes:
Not a ballad, an entire opera.
Klingon Opera?...... Yup screaming and howling about killing tribbles...Not my cup of tea but ok...I can see an opera written about it....
