Effects of an FBP Feedback Loop?

So if two ships with FBP III shoot at each other, will the FBP pulses trigger more pulses back and forth until a FBP runs out?

    Don't think it works that way... but my god if it does/did.. Super Space Pong anyone?

    It's the same effect as diving by 0; you tear the fabric of the space-time continuum.

    But in all seriousness, I believe that only damage from energy weapons will count towards FBP's returns. While FBP does "energy damage", I think it's treated differently than normal beams and such. But I'm not positive.

    If it worked that way... the horror...

    Imagine a private PvP match with Carriers and Nebulas on both sides, spamming Fire at Will, FBP-reflecting Feedback Pulse, fighters, and then throw in a Tachyon Detection Grid.

    ...aaand there goes your graphics card :D

    In case you'r here since release and read every patchnote - it doesn't work that way.
    It repulses beam and cannon weapon damage.
