In case you missed my twitter pic - here is the link to a screenshot of the new First City map on Qo'noS.

This outdoor courtyard map will replace the existing Qo'noS interior as the central hub for the KDF faction.

This along with the upcoming Klingon academy will give Klingons some much needed flavor and sense of home.

Wow. That looks awesome. Thank you and your team for all the hard work they do!

Looking forward to rolling a new klingon character with all the upcoming content for them.

The picture left me longing for a San Francisco map with Starfleet HQ and Academy. ;)

Very nice. It looks like the skyline will really enhance the sense of being in a small part of a much larger area. Which is excellent. While I love the interior of the Great Hall (Which I hope we will not lose entirely) the apparent scope of the new layout will be a nice change.

Also the shot of the Klingon Academy looks promiseing too. I think I see a new Desk-top wallpaper in my post season 4 future...*Grin*...

Nope, but I've designed a parking space for that.
But I wouldn't keep my hopes to high they'll consider it.

I can appreciate your enthusiasm as I play both sides of the game, but I think with the KDF faction fires warming up over a continued lack of development this sneak peek has two functions. First to whet the general appetite of the player base and second to give confidence to the KDF fan base.

Given the massive amount of new things that get pumped into the Fed side, and the growing KDF concern over the relative dearth of shinies for their faction, it is more effective that DStahl gave the KDF a visual assurance that love is in the pipe for them.

Besides anticipation is often the best part of a reward. Think of how much more satisfied you will be when your first impression comes from the inside without the preconceived notions that can come from an outside view that a screen shot could give you and the shadow of disappointment those preconceived notions often carry could sap the novelty out of the experience.

If the surprise of a punch line is what makes you laugh in a comedy shop, then it is the surprise of the novel that makes you marvel at the visage of a new land.

    Thanks again Mr. Stahl, qapla'!

There should be flying vehicles like on Defera.

Additionally, they should occasionally shoot at each other.

I thought how they were doing in PVP was proof that they were winning the war.

Perhaps if we had a persistent PvP Sector it would.

I love the look of it, very industrial.

hopefully we will get some new ui tinting options soon the bright red is hard on the eyes, It would be great to be able to mute it down to something like astrometrics dark red in sector space.

Between that and getting a nicer font like the fed one e I'd be happy.

Which armor is your character wearing? The pants look a lot like the ones some of the NPC's are wearing (2 bands on the left thigh). Is that also a sneak peak? I really hope so.

    Sweet!!!

I've discovered this excellent Crow recipe in my time off.
    Pre-Cooking Preparation
    submitted by Robert B.

    Preparation
You can use this method with crows, coots, diver ducks and just about any fowl that may have a strong flavor. Use as many TRIBBLE as you decide to grill and soak them from 2 hours to overnight in salt water then thoroughly rinse and dry the TRIBBLE. Then use your favorite brand of Italian dressing and put enough to coat the bottom of a container you can put a lid on and put a layer of TRIBBLE, a layer of dressing, and keep layering till all the TRIBBLE are in the container. Finally, top off with dressing and put in fridge over night. The next day they will be tender and tasty.

    Summer Crow Kabobs
submitted by Gordon Krause (The CrowMaster)

    Ingredients
16 pieces of crow breast meat (no bones) (8 crows)
    16 pieces of green pepper
    16 cherry tomatoes
    8 button mushrooms
    8 ears of sweet corn
1 1/2 cups of Teriyaki sauce
    1/2 cup melted butter
    8 kabob skewers
    Preparation
Cut each piece of crow in half and place in a covered bowl with the Teriyaki sauce over night. Clean and cut each ear of corn into 3 pieces. Cook in boiling salt water for 10 minutes. Alternately put corn (3 pieces), green peppers (3 pieces) and cherry tomatoes (3) along with 4 pieces of crow meat on each skewer. Use 1 mushroom to top each skewer. Brush with melted butter and place on preheated grill for about 4 minutes. Flip, butter again and place back on grill for another 4 minutes. Repeat one last time for a total of 12 minutes or until they appear done. Serves four adults.

I look forward to eating it upon the release of season 4
