K'Norr Escort and other lower level player ships

After wailing away and trashing several Fek'Ihri Escorts, the ship has started to grow on me. I would like to see more of them in the game. Could another "offical" KDF PvE mission be added that have it? Perhase the player captain has to fend off an attack on the Forcas System or Galanda Station.

I would also like to see it as a player ship. It could be added as a Tier 5 ship with Commander and Lt. Commander Tactical slots, Lt and Ensign Science slots, and a Lt. Engineer slot. I will leave it to others as to the ship's specific stats.

It could also be added as a Tier 2 or 3 ship with the Nausigaan Destroyer Escort as the other (one of the two would be tier 2, the other at tier 3). It would NOT have a cloaking device, would have weapon stats comperable to the Raptor Escort, and a hull and manuverability similar to a Federation Science ship. I justify the higher hull because it is off set by the slower turn rate and lack of a cloaking device.

I would also like to se the Gorn Draguas and Orion Brigand cruiser added at Tiers 2, 3 or 4. Having a BOFF layout similar to the Nebula, but with Engineer as the Seinor BOFF slot could work. As with the suggestion above, the ship would NOT have a cloaking device.

/Signed. More KDF faction vessels would and is always nice. I find it hard to believe the KDF did not increase production of existing and newer vessel designs with after the Dominion wars and with our expansion of new territories.

    K'norr? Sounds tasty.

More faction vessels would be good.

I would like to see Gorn, Orion and Naucassian ships at least randomly available at all tiers, with a long term goal to have one at every tier.
Also, Carriers should become available earlier. As long as we don't decide to abandon the entire Carrier concept as unfitting to Startrek and throw them away, their gameplay needs to be available earlier.

My first thought was actually the Narn T'Norr Frigate from Babylon 5 (it's one of the side pods of the T'Loth refitted into a seperate ship).

But yes, more racial ships would be cool.
Since there are four ships per race (Gorn, Nausicaan, Orion) there would be enough to spread them around the tiers.

And the ones from "Enterprise" are also missing:

Obviously neither of the latter two would make much sense as 1 to 1 versions from the shows, even though that has never stopped anyone before, something like they did with the Raptor may be prudent:

They could be new and enlarged versions of their ancestors, grown by a similar margin as the Raptor was grown.

I'm afraid that the tier 2 raptor is the Somraw. It is the exact same ship, graphics, size, and all. However, your opinion has much merit, and I fully support a scaleing up of some of those designs.

On another note, since the Klinks captured a number of Fek'Ihri ships, why couldn't they have captures some Dominion ships? I have seen some Jem''Hadar characters (even a female Jem'Hadar!) in the KDF. If I was to make one too, I would love to fly around in a Jem'Hadar heavy escort (tier 3 or 4), and later in a Dominion battle ship at Lt. General.

I'm sorry but it appears you missed that little detail.
The T2 Raptor is not the same ship.
There was an article in the official STO website that said as much.
    It can still retrieved here:

    http://www.warcry.com/news/view/89845-Star-Trek-Online-Klingon-Raptor-Revealed

There was also a piece on the STO page with additional specs that were mostly fluff but also included the information that the ship is 240 meters long, which would make it 100 meters longer than the original Raptor.
So I did not make this up, this is how it actually is in this game.:)

    Obvious:

If and when a Cardassian/Dominion faction is added Cryptic will want to give those ships to them.
