Spanish search option its not working. (Closed, necro)

Here there, i just want to report that the Spanish search option its not working at all in the current foundry version.
When you create a mission, you can choose to set the mission search options to discriminate by language, and one option give in its the Spanish one.
But when you search for a mission, the only options you get are English, German and French.

Spanish speakers community its not that big like the German one, but we have the most used language in the entire world, in other words, we have the potential to grow, so i would ask if this could get fix.

Another thing, thanks cryptic for the foundry, just thanks..

    Criptyc, thank you very very much for the foundry, it is one great tool, but please fix this to allow our community to search missions in our own language.

    Note: some spanish community players does not know english, believe it or not, and we have "sessions" when we do episodes with translation "on the fly" for them to enjoy your great episodes.

    So again, please fix this and thank you very much for this great tool.

    FYI I' have the same error, the Spanish option doesn't work properly, please fix it :(

    Remember that we are working to create Spanish content for the game, and Spanish people need this option to find Spanish missions quickly.

    Thanks for do it, and I hope that I'll fix ASAP. :D

    Thanks for the support guys, i am really tired of the ppl that rate our mission with a 1 because its not in English language, but if we can manage to get this Spanish search option, it would recognise us to be a "official" language for the Foundry too.

    Yeah.. a Spanish option in the language search is a must. We can specified "Spanish" as the language for the mission in the Foundry, but we can't search them.

    And for the english community, a bit of tolerance please. This isn't an "English Server", is the only server we have to play. Is really sad to see a 1 star rating in German or Spanish missions because they're not in english.

    Galhara, thanks for your support. We know that the german community is big, the amount of foundry mission in german prove it. :)

    Ya intolerance for non-english speakers is big, not only here, but in several games.

    Even the moderators in the forums put rules for the signatures stating that they should be in english...

    The behavior of puting 1 star for the mission not be in english, is sad and it is dangerously close to "racism"...

    My regards to the german community as well!

    I support this venture, I am Spanish speaking personally, but I've tried German missions such as this great tool has much potential.

    I support this too. If there is an option for spanish search in the editor, why isnt there an option in the search?

    Great work with the Foundry by the way.

    I agree with this topic because we are a large fleet of Spanish speakers in the game and would be a detail.
    Kudos to Cryptic for their hard work ;)

    It appears the lanuage search function and a couple of other search functions are are not working within the Community Content dialogue. Search for any language is not working; Spanish, English, German....all not working.

    I actually agree with you, Cryptic does not support its non-english speaking community as well as it should. And don't feel bad about your english, you are doing just fine. As for myself? Spanish is my primary language, not english, so having additional options when it comes to content ingame and community on the message boards would be most beneficial. Let us hope that, in time, Cryptic will see reason for this to be just a sign of a need for reevaluation on their current english only forum policy as wel..

    I´am supporting this issue too ... by the way I haven´t even known that it is possible yet. I have only seen something like "top rated", "new" ... .

    And by the way, if I am a reviewer and I am searching under "Community Authored" I will get results for both categories: "Community Authored" and for the missions who haven´t got enough reviews yet. Sorry, I don´t remember the name for the other category ... ;)

    If the mission is in a language I do not understand, I do not play them, and so I do not rate it.

    And to Cryptic: Please give us a little bit more space for text in the reviewing box. Four and a half line is sometimes not enough.

    Also I´m sorry for my bad english (I´m hoping, it´s getting better).

    Han pasado más de 2 meses de esto, ¿se acuerdan que este problema sigue existiendo?. ¿Lo repararán en la sesión 4? ¿o dejaremos de pagar por el poco apoyo de Cryptic por los no ingleses?

    As I noted in a separate thread, this fix is already working on Holodeck.

    ¿Crees que para la próxima revisión estará esto ya reparado?. Porque ya está bien que solo apoyéis a los jugadores ingleses, que los demás también pagamos, esto va por que la búsqueda del top en foundy solo aparecen en el top las misiones en ingles, como si el resto no valiesen nada, a ver si empiezan ha tener respeto por todos los creadores de foundy.


    Do you think the next review and will this be fixed?. Because it is good that you support only the English players, that others pay, this is on the search for the top in foundy only appear in the top missions in English, as if the rest did not serve at all, to see if start having respect for ALL creators of foundy.

    The worst thing its that you can at least search France and German mission under the costume tab.. but you cant do that for Spanish mission, because again, there is no Spanish tab.. so we have to publish our mission on the English tab for them to even be able to fund.. and that its going to open the door to the "ONE STAR, ENGLISH NEXT" type of review.

    Good.

    How will that work Administrators?. You are now ready to come out this year or have to wait one year more, I know. I hate it we remember these things, but that is what we have we paid, we like that when we say something is accomplished.

    As stated there, I doubt this will be answered, since it seems that this forum for weeks that no one reads Cryptic.
