The Foe Hammer is a Multi-Vector capable starship.
And Ferengi rule!
8/10 for the pic above me. I'll put one on as soon as I figure out how.
When editing your signature you have a new option to add an image URL. You just need to host the image somewhere and then copy the URL to use the feature.
Edit: Signature images must be 500x150 pixels or smaller.
Edit: Ninja'd by Blackavaar...
9/10 - honestly.. I really can't suggest anything to improve it, except maybe less emphasis on the colour yellow, which always feels a bit weak to me. For Commadore Bob... 7/10
Showing some promise there.. but you need a little more Star Trek in your font folder
There's some pretty specific rules regarding image signatures.. and colouring outside the lines can earn you infractions.. so here's the rules, in brief.
The image must be no wider than 500px
The image must be no taller than 150px
The image MUST be a JPEG file. (no Gifs, no PNGs, etc)
The image must be no larger in filesize than 50kb.
You must host your own image (there's no upload option)
Images can be comnbined with text, but the overall presentation can't be larger than either 5 lines of text, or 150px. There is a chart available of various image/text combinations.
Text in signatures must be in English. (this includes text in images)
The full rules can be read here, and they SHOULD be reviewed before posting anything. Remember that signatures are parts of your "posts", and as such, the forum rules that apply to posts also apply to signatures.

lol, I think my text alone already goes over the limit. I may have some work to do there.
It's kinda weird. Size wize, 5 lines doesn't occupy the same space as 150 pixels, although the text can stretch beyond the 500 pixel mark, so maybe that's the reasoning.
8/10 Nice image, framing could use a little more pizzazz. Maybe some fonts? (I;m a big proponent of typography today).. I also think it could use a thin black outline separating the red frame from the image inside. I do however love how your ships always pop out of the frame. I need to try that at some point.

The "5 lines" rule came about a long time before we were allowed to use images. The original rule was "5 lines of text, maximum" and that rule's been around for as long as I can recall. When they allowed us to have images, they COULD have limited us to 100px, or even less if they wanted, but the moderators generously allowed us 150px of height to show off our ships.
The suggestion that "1 line of text should equal 1/5 of the image height" is not a hard and fast rule.. but it should be noted that not everyone sees webpage fonts at the same size. the "one line = 30px" guideline is definitely the safest way to go, and the most respectful of the spirit of the rules.
I've seen people tile several images together, (to fake an image map, or multiple links/buttons) and the mods seem to be fine with that, so long as the images tile together to make an overall rectangle no wider than 500px, and no taller than 150px, and no larger than 50kb when all the image file sizes are combined.
An interesting side effect of the image rules, however, is that if you use a small typeface, you can cram a heck of a lot more than 5 lines of text, onto a single image 500px by 150px.
If you use an online repository like ImageShack or Photobucket, then you use the direct link to the image. Copy the direct link. In your signature block, you can use the image tags. Paste the direct link within the image tag.
To create an image, you can take a screenshot when flying around in your ship or running around on the ground. You'll find that image in your screenshot folder within the STO directory. Open it in MS Paint or any other preferred graphics editor. Size it to 500

Nice one, Bob.
That's in-game. It's the Prometheus with Multi-Vector Assault Mode. I just used different nacelles.

Btw.. I've always thought that your signature should have an engineering curl inside a large comma.
You'll want to replace your signature with a Image code, like this:
It can be made a clickable link too:

I love blueberry ice cream! Thats what is, right? Cone with a single blueberry ice cream scopp.
I want one just like it.
How is it now?
Changing the font perfected it. Nice job!

Should Klingon text be red?
8/10 Shiny.
Klingon Text is green for envy of Fed shinnies that Klingons don't have.
Very nice, but it breaks the rules. Image signatures must be within 500x150 pixels. Yours is clearly much wider.
Bob's ship is the Enterprise B variant of the Excelsior starship.
