Ready for my new signature

It's April 5th. That means the new rules go into effect which opens up new signatures. I know it is only 7:00 AM in Los Gatos so it may be a while before they make the required permission changes.

I've got my picture signature ready to go. Who's keeping their current sig and who's upgrading to a pic?

    ive not been paying much attention to the rule change on this.

    im confused, is it like Champions online where your picture is immediately viewable to everybody, sort of like your avatar is?

    That's my understanding. They are adopting the Champs rules concerning avatars (.1kb bigger) and signatures (allowed to have photo sigs). But that everyone is adopting infraction rules similar to what we have been using at STO.

    Side note: I had to rewrite this twice because my 18 m/o son was cracking me up by dancing to the TV. So I apologize for any grammar issues. :rolleyes:

    I turned off all signatures pretty much the day I joined. I know some people might like having them, but I've yet to come across one that wasn't gaudy and annoying.

    Some of the people here are pretty artistic. You should turn them on some time next week just to see how people did.

    I don't know if I'll use a signature image just yet. I haven't made one, but I'd like to see how it turns out. Looking forward to seeing what other people make.

    As of 1145 Mountain Time....signature permission still says no to images

    I'm off to work shortly... will be home around midnight (EST)...

    I wonder if it's going to require a server reboot inorder for the changes to take affect.

    That is what I have been expecting. I figure I know the changes are being rolled out when I get the "We are undergoing maintenance" placeholder screen.

    I'll probably experiment with mine until I get it right. Current one's a place holder because I don't like it so much anymore, lol.

    For signature images: 500x150 Pixels ONLY, please! For more info on the new rules regarding signature images, please do read the Atari Community Rules and Policies.
    Some of you may want to adjust some of these before they are reported and we have to remove them.

    I made sure by making the canvas in photoshop be 500x150. I threw mine together in a few minutes (not an artist), I'll be very interested to see what the people with talent can do.
