Bug: Map Transition

SystemSystem Member, NoReporting Posts: 178,019 Arc User
I don’t know if this had been addressed or talked about before. But I still play a lot of missions where the warp out/in and beam out/in transition animation is not happening on my ship or crew during map transfers. It seemed to happen all the time on mission before the patch. But I am still seeing a lot on mission published in the past week or so. Is this a bug in publishing or the maps? (or is my warp core just running low on Tigerblood?)

Hmm... best case scenario is that they are stripping away the warp ins and beam outs, prior to letting us specify our map transition animations, maybe in the map transition tab. It's something that I begged for in the conference call, and it's something I've ranted about in a different thread.

That is pure speculation, based entirely on hope.

Ranting? No one is ranting here. We are just having a nice calm exchange of ideas… Why yes, I do always carry this baseball bat. Why do you ask?

    This isn't a bug. :)

If you want to leave more feedback about this, you can leave it in the feedback forum. But being able to specify warp in/out animations has been discussed for quite some time. :)

    "This isn't a bug."

Ok, maybe this is me being VERY over zealous or whatever, but could this be due to some new code that would allow a separate animation sequence to take place? perhaps for the future? Say if you click "beam down" you get the beam in animation... or if you click "shuttle down" you'd see your crew exit a shuttle? :D

or perhaps this is part of some evil scheme to slow pull content from the game until we're left with the real game they've been developing all this time. That's right... Tribble Soccer (or Tribble Football for non-American release). Yes.... yes, it all makes sense now! Curse you Tribble Soccor/Football! Curse you!

Mmmm. If it's not a bug, why don't the animations happen as they should?

Read between the lines Chaddy, lol.

I have got my magnifying glass out and have finally managed to read between the lines. I have also edited my previous post and marked it as stupidity
