Bug: Hidden objects are visible on 'M' map screen

Can this be changed please? If a planet is set as initially invisible, it still shows as a planet on the big map.

To replicate; Put a planet on a space map, set its state to go from hidden to visible using triggers, and then play the map. Press M.

it happens with every initial invisible object. i wouldnt exactly call it a bug personally but you're right, for continuity reasons it should be changed :)

We've added that to the bug database, but it's not likely to be fixed this week. (It will stay in the database, though.) Don't want you to think we're not looking at it. :)

For a planet, I would expect my ship's astrometrics department to discover a very large gravity well, and map it accordingly. ;)

But if your mission involves, say, Q creating it on a whim, there would be no gravity well to begin with...
