I'm really having a hard time dealing with this problem. it disrupts any type of mission/combat flow in interior maps. No enemies or BO's will act properly due to this "Bug". The line of site mechanics don't function as intended.
So what am I supposed to do about it? Should I just abandon any interior map confrontations? Are there any plans for a fix to this coming anytime soon?
I know I'm not alone in my frustrations regarding this bug and we know it affects a great many missions and authors...
Why is it that we have not received any information regarding this?
If it is going to be a "Well, that's just how it's got to be because X=[Y/A+0*47 + (Z-24^8+37462) / 0]" and so therefore all objects are transparent to line of sight calculations and not possible in the Foundry ever... THEN TELL US PLEASE... and I can move on...
If it is the Dev's intention to go live to Holodeck with this "configuration" like the Foundry Spotlighted Missions I think we as authors REALLY NEED TO KNOW THIS!
I have a funny feeling that someone used Proto-Matter to construct all of the Foundry Art Assets and that since they don't really exist we can shoot through them and everyone but players can see through them as well like Captain Pike on Talos IV...
If only the "Keeper" would open the Slot and put some food in our cell we could put a gun to his head and find a way out of this mess...
I'm trying not to be Barbaric, but my species finds this captivity intolerable even though the environment is pleasant.
