ESD Crash!!

When i went to dock at ESD the game crashed on me.Now every time i try to load my toon which is on ESD the game keeps crashing.Please look into this because i cant access my Fed character until you do!thanx

    make sure you send a gm ticket. they should be able to dump your characters somewhere else to get you out of the problem.

    i hope they sort it.

    Come on Cryptic i wanna play my game!!this is the error message im getting is "Fatal error:Read wrong number of Bytes".

    That kinda sounds local. If other folks are getting in and you're not then it might be. There's a program in the game folder called crypticerror.exe, maybe try that?

    They cant help you over the forums, especially not on a sunday.

    all you can do is run a force verify to try and make sure the files are correct and submit a gm ticket (not a bug ticket) and just be patient.

    You need to verify your files. That is a file error on your local machine caused when the expected size of the file in question has changed. A change in file size means that code as been added or removed from the file, which is usually only caused by three things: the user, virus/spyware, or a file was corrupted while the system was reading it. Check your hard drive for errors and bad sectors (scandisk), or make sure you have an up-to-date anti-virus and scan the system.

    Iv verified it a number of times.I can still access my klingon character its just my Fed toon.il try disc clean thogh now.thanx guys.
