Just checked to see how many reviews were on the released Foundry Missions on Holodeck.
The Feds have over 2000, some nearing 3000 people who have reviewed, hense played.
The Klingon mission however I don't think even adds up to 400 reviews. Now consider that it has no competition since it's the only Klingon mission released, while the Feds had several.
The same holds out when you look at reviewed klingon Missions within the Foundry on Tribble.
It just doesn't seem like many people play on the Klingon side.
I say this sadly because I really like my klingon character and use it often. I also loved the missions that Cryptic made, but to make Klingon missions to have no one play it seems like a bit of a waste.
Is there any way to increase gomeplay and interest on the Klingon side?
It was kinda doomed from the start when Cryptic made players HAVE to invest 6 levels of playtime into a Federation character. They just get attached to that and dont bother with Klingon.
People will make Klingon missions though, don't worry about that.

Daniel Stahl recently stated within the "Ask Cryptic" release which you can find on the home page of startrekonline.com that he has plans for the STO team to create a KDF tutorial, which will allow players to start a KDF toon without ever having to play a Fed character which is what was originally intended for the game but due to time constraints never happened.
P.S. I am one of the people who is making missions for the KDF and I've released one so far. I prefer quality over quantity, so the mission only took about a month to put together, and perfect before publishing, though it can still be improved, but the improvements I wish to make require the Foundry (beta) tools to be updated.
If you have a KDF mission you would like to be reviewed, PM me the details and in return I would like you to simply do the same for me.
I don't think as many Klingon players are on tribble right now. If they are anything liike me they are playing other games or playing fed characters until the foundry goes live and they can then level up using it.
I think it's just a case of people wanting to play klingons....but not until the foundry is on holodeck and working.

I'm planning to make at least one KDF-focused mission, as soon as I figure out what story I want to tell about the KDF faction... :)
Then again, my KDF mission only garnered 4 votes on Tribble, so that makes it barely a tadpole.
