Mek'leth, when is it coming?

I actually played Beta and continued to play for a while after that and i remember we were told that the Mek'leth was in production way back then i am curious as to why we don't have it now? i know there are bigger issues but the model for it was already in game during beta, same with the D'ktang dagger. any ideas when it will be released(possibly both of them)
