Monolith - Updated! Changelog Inside!

With special thanks for a massive list from Ashter, I've run through my third and most complex mission ever, Monolith, and polished her up a tad. To Ashter's disappointment no doubt, some quirks she noticed couldn't quite be remedied yet with the current version of the Foundry, but my changelog is below! WARNING: There are some spoilers in the chaneglog! So if you want to just help me out without them, give me mission a play!

The Starbase UGC Wiki page for the mission is here

CHANGELOG

New System Intro - Previously, the player entered the star system through the Kei door and was instantly on the planet. Now, the player enters the door and arrives in the planetary system, and is debriefed by their science officer about the world, before entering orbit and beaming down.

Archeology Team - Previously, the archeology team consisted of a hodge-podge of Starfleet officers, including tactical and engineering officers. Now, they're all science officers.

Clueless Tellarite? - Gervok previously told you he couldn't remember where the anomalies he loved so much were. Now, he seems to remember that they're, roughly, to the south.

Buggy Crystals - One of the patches of crystals previously glitching on a hillside has now been moved to softer soil.

Know Something We Don't, Gervok? - Gervok previously told you to go "look around outside" after scanning the console. Now, he seems to have a hunch that you ought to be looking south.

Cut the Chatter! - The completely random-face of Thot Nor is now explained by your science officer: the Breen are hacking into the comm systems!

Well That Was Kinda Dumb ... - Your science officer now offers a theory as to why the Breen destroyed the console.

A Means of Escape - Previously, if you were unfortunate enough to fall off the monolith and survive, there was no way for you to get back onto the monolith without leaving the instance. Now, various Breen and Romulan forces have been placed on the ground to give you a means of ending your life so you can respawn if you were unlucky enough to fall off.

Well That Explains It... - Wondering why you can't just beam back up to the monolith? Your science officer warns you with a scientific explanation as to why its not possible.

Ambushed! - The first wave on the monolith now properly ambushes the player.

A Surprise For You! - Gervok's forces beam down with an extra helping of Ensigns, instead of more Romulans.

Various Typo Fixes

Known Issues - Arrack and Gervok are still labeled as being "War Targs". I'm trying to figure this one out, but to the best of my knowledge they're labeled as correctly as they can be and its just not updating. I'll keep working on it.

Again, any further input you guys could provide would be great! Or, if you really like the mission, spread it around!

I stopped reading once I heard there were spoilers.

Looked up what your story was about and it sounds very interesting. Will give it a runthrough sometime today and will then review and then post a more comprehensive review here.

Honestly, I find myself liking the Foundry missions even more than some of the Cryptic missions. I guess I just like story driven stuiff over combat. Though don;t get me wrong, still love the Cryptic stuff too.

    Again, great mission.

The only real problem that I saw, a minor one at that is the cave. The back end is slightly above the ground. Maybe dropping it down a bit would fix that.

    Liked playing it though!

Thanks Couto! I'll work on that cave a bit.
