Just for the record, i solo'd all of those on my stormbringer so its easily possible to do, just involves lots of kiting. Other classes might have issues though, its been a long time since i leveled any of the older classes.

I dont have any issues whatsoever as a lvl 100+ toon making coin to cover repairs and such so ill assume you are refering to newer toons. Not once have i moved money from my main toon to my stormbringer and not once have i needed to. Quests give sooooooo much coin and the exp is pretty good as well.

Id say aps barb, but then being an aps barb thats probably biased. i do find facerolling most bosses alot easier than quite a few of my equally geared sin friends though, astral walker/ancient evil. And when i say faceroll, i mean spark macro and browse the net

I was considering spending some money on this in the new year to get some more of my gear and be that little bit closer to end game. But all i hear about support is things like this and so unless they improve the support, i think ill hold off spending anything and keep it free to play for myself.

I dont really like rushing through an instance which is why i dont really care for pv. My stormbringer is now 76 and i have 5 quests left in my availble quest list. At this point i think hypering frost would come in handy, at least i dont have to be rushing through fc as you do with pv.

Not sure if this is a bug or im looking in the wrong place but at level 40 you get the pop up for the strange monument quest but you go to the dawnglory elder and he doesnt have the quest to give you.
