Hello. I am a new player; and, I have seen the Martial Artist NPC standing around. What does he do? With what quest is he associated?

I have a problem, also, with the duelling option. 1. I don't how to do it once I accept a Duel challenge. 2. The other player ALWAYS wins. 3. I think (but I do not know) I am chosen because I am a low level (as low as level 5 in one case). 4. In Etherblade, there's so much activity going on my computer freezes for several…
