  • I agree, but the problem is that the majority of the real Newbies don't even know about the forums and they are the ones affected most. Give them a bad early experience and they are gone. They haven't had the time and money invested that would encourage them to stick around and complain on the forums.
  • If you are in fact doing that I applaud you. I was talking about the other person who did not once mention she was protecting lowbies. I don't believe that PWE/PWCN will not change things after this mess-up. Gold prices are going through the roof last I checked and this means many people are deciding NOT to spend any more…
  • That's exactly my point. She has an Alt on LC just like I do. But instead of playing there, why does she camp for 3 hours in SP on Heaven's Tear? Because it is easy. And oh when things get boring lets one shot a few Noobs.
  • You said you spent 3 whole hours there! I would think that is far more time than necessary to get bored of PKing. You should be going white named if you want any challenge. That is real PvP.
  • Thanks for the explanation but that siggy didn't make sense to me anyway. If MoonUsagi can actually write proper English she should. But back on point. Why is a high level spending 3 hrs in SP on a PvE server? Only one reason, to PK noobs because it is easy, instead of doing real PvP on a PvP server. Or maybe she gets her…
  • Go back to your hole. Some jokes aren't funny and yours wasn't. Nor did it sound like a joke but more like a racist jab, which you are now trying to retract. But this is to be expected from a PKr that supports PKing newbies in SP.
  • Wow this is rude. Did you realize that PWI stands for Perfect World International? At least she is writing in English.
  • I have a friend who feels the same way about doing everything in her Quest log. The other thing is that for Newbies (not new alts), SP is the first serious Dungeon Instance (if you ignore the FB19s which are not available for all races and you never see WCs for anymore). It is a good fun training experience for them and…
  • This quote from one of the US PWIC team who met with PWCN management shows what damage he/she and the PWIC Tourney probably did to the US PvE server community. This is the kind of awful biased representation our US PWI got from our fail TriForce PWIC Tourney team. (the one which lost to all the other countries in all the…
  • Thanks for bringing this up. In 2 years of playing I never thought about using this method to unload stuff to an alt quickly. (DOH) I usually just price normally and use it as a way at the same time to transfer coin back to the main, but that isn't always what I want to do. But yeah as long as they aren't advertising…
  • Thanks Seitori for digging this up. This quote from one of the US PWIC team who met with PWCN management shows what damage he/she and the PWIC Tourney probably did to the US PvE server community. This is the kind of awful biased representation our US PWI got from our fail TriForce PWIC Tourney team. The PWCN president…
  • Well, I can share your interest. I got a Super Pet Cage and have had almost every rare pet and interesting un-rare pet. However, I can tell you for a fact that once you get a Herc and Nix. The others are so weak in comparison you only bring them out for show or when helping out lowbies. It would be great if they revamped…
  • You may be surprised at the effect in person discussions can have with top management, especially ones who are so out of touch with their foreign subsidiary. I am somewhat experienced in these kind of RL matters BTW. I'm guessing that the PWCN President got all excited at seeing the Tourney (in person) and was unduly…
  • What momentum? You haven't updated info or posted videos of the PWIC finals. ... Or is that because our US team got crushed in less than 20 seconds by every other international team? If you want to give US players a place to PvP practice, and get US players nearer the International skill level, open the Arenas (code is…
  • Well you are right about playing for the fun of it. That is why I decided to move away from my Veno, it isn't fun anymore. Part of my enjoyment is feeling in demand and useful in squads. I do bring it out to help lower levels at times and yes it is useful for farming. The Mystic is kind of a hybrid Veno/Cleric and is a lot…
  • Bash is the best skill to replace Pounce with. But remember to level it to 5 at the same time. That together with the Reflect will hold aggro quite well when soloing. It has been heavily discussed and calculated in the past and I remember Bash coming out on top followed by Flesh Ream if you use the Herc for PvP. That being…
  • This is not an option for Venos with Hercs or Nixes which have to be leveled from lvl 1. At least the Herc you can level in room 4 of the cube. It took me I think 5+ hours to get it to lvl 70+ my fingers were numb and eyes blurry and I was almost ready to quit the game for good by then, lol. Furthermore almost all higher…
  • Of course you can finish an SP quest without a 50+ helping but that was in the good old days before powerleveling and now griefing in SP. Now you'll take anyone willing to help and most experienced bored players free to help are higher than 50.
  • If I remember correctly, it takes a squad above 70 to kill Silverfrost. Also, what about the 70-90s that are there helping lowbies quest? If you target everyone above 50, you are killing questers too. Up your level to 100+, then maybe you won't be considered a coward and maybe you won't find it quite so "fun".
  • Agreed. I play on PvE for relaxing fun, I don't want to suddenly get attacked out of the blue by a Stealth Sin. (can you tell I hate Sins, they are just too ridiculously OPd, and the way they PK is just cowardly) BTW, most new players don't even know what buying heads is. Besides, what new player is going to charge Zen to…
  • It won't go away. It is similar to the Silver Pool area on PvP servers. People go there to gank. Except in SP it is much easier pickings because of the layout and one entryway. And we know that the loser griefers are lazy *** bullies. It only takes a handful of those losers a day to make it miserable for the lowbies.
  • If they want to keep it this way they should put a copy of Jewelscalen in a room near the entrance so pissed off questers (or their higher level protectors) can lure their griefers to him. b:victory
  • They just need to activate the Arena that is already in every city. Flip a couple of programming switches, recompile, done. Video of 2008 Arena
  • Precisely - DIFFERENT PRIORITIES PKrs should stay on PvP servers.
  • You're on a freaking PvP server, DOH. This issue is about PK on Blue names mainly on PvE servers. And last I checked you can't PK Blue names even on LC (except for SP) b:chuckle
  • And why do you think the PvP servers are dead? I know what you are saying because I have alts on LC which I rarely play, it just isn't fun for me to suddenly be oneshot out of the blue. So if you re-roll on a PvE server then respect the wishes of the majority of the population there. Because most people don't like to be…
  • If you like PvP start a character on a PK server where you can be PKd and PK back ANYWHERE after level 30. THAT is real PvP -- not leveling up to 100+ in safety yourself then picking on lower levels. Or allowing lower levels to get PKd when they purposely chose a PvE server.
  • Thanks for the research. Well I would think that proves the point that the CN players are quite different in behaviour. In how they spend coin/Gold as well as probably how they grief other players.
  • I agree with you 100% except for the part about Dueling. Dueling is a lame excuse for PvP practice. As I and many others have said simply flip the programming switches and re-open the original Arena where anyone Blue, White or Red can PvP with no XP loss or drops.
  • Yes it is now bedtime for the school kids who get their adolescent rocks off by bullying weaker pixels.
