I found a way to make it not get stuck, completely turn off the client, and start it up again, and mines up and running agian ( you may need to do this a few times, im figuring this is the only way to download the patch) My method just got the patch to finish downloading, give it a try

What helps, is click the search button on your computer, and click all files and folders, where it says a word or phrase, type in Perfect world, it'll bring up the perfect world file, click it, and there should be a few programs, one says icon, one says install.exe, click it, and the installation shall start
