I've been doing the same thing, and I sent a ticket as well...still waiting on a response though. I'll check out this patch to see what it is. If anyone has any ideas about how to install the 448 patch, or any other patch...please let me know. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I cannot login either. I'm having the exact same problem, and I have attempted to login from all of the servers. It says that Ping and population are --- for all of them.
