This is nothing new though, it has been a long time since a majority of the PW2 playerbase has felt the developers attention. It has been a long time since players on PW2 have felt the developers have cared about their opinion. It is what it is sadly.

Hmm I haven't played this game in over a year - The expansion looks kinda cheesy, imma log in and check it out tho, not hoping for much at this point. Is g17 more obtainable, or is it still a 5k year grind?

They would have done that during maint as they have an est time of 4 hrs for maint and usually only use 2-3 hours of that time. Regardless of people complaints, I think PWI doesn't actually have a bad player base TBH. Of course it used to have a larger player base, however, i also do not know that this = a dead game. I think player base fluctuations are a way of life im any mmo.
