None of the 3 ISPs I've been with have been that way. Usually had a different IP address in the same subnet every day or two. As for most ISPs using static IPs, every ISP I've looked into in my area charges extra for a static IP, and some won't give one to residential connections even if you are willing to pay for it.

Problem with that is not everyone has a static IP so you'll have to keep re-adding the same person to that list, and some one living in the same area on the same ISP would wind up getting blocked even if you didn't want them blocked.

The problem with that plan is source IP addresses are easy to fake.

Except if you move it to 10pm CET as the start of this thread suggests then it's even more in the middle of the work day for west coast people, but also moves it into when most east coast people are on their way home from work.

It's no different than xnw and svs. No matter what atleast one server will have a bad time slot for it due to the 9 hour spread on the servers. So far Dawnglory has a better time slot than the other servers for xnw and svs so I don't feel any sympathy that they have a poor time slot for this one.

Not sure if I missed it, but I haven't seen any news on how long the 3x/2x is going to last. Anyone know when it ends?

You cannot. G17 weapons can only be made from scratch and require the use of a homestead for the first tier of G17 weapons. After that the mats can be bought from other players or farmed using a combination of Uncharted Paradise and the homestead.
