The player shops could be much better organized to avoid all the clutter. Ground can be cobbled different in color, streight cobbled line portions of streets could be created, even short pedistals could be added, and player shops could be coded so that the only places they can be created are upon these places.

There should be map territory areas that can only be competed for and held by qualifying factions. I estimate that 20% of my initial attacks end up going behind me than to the creature infront of me that I am clicking on and tryng to attack.
