I think I read on here that the problem is you don't have asian language support in your windows. You might try installing that and/or looking for the post.

If you want to make a squad (team) hit T and add them, or ask them to invite you into their squad. As for exp gained, no idea.

Other then quests... Kill stuff? Make stuff? Go places? Talk to people? Level up some more? Party with people? Farm materials? Help people? Set up a shop? Bother people? Do more quests? As for tailoring, no idea.

... After you start the game and login to a server, but before you choose a character to play, and of course before you load that character into the world.

No idea. Although, I would think it would be very easy to check yourself.

I think there is more then one chest for the humans. Make sure it's the right one....
