I've had a robe int/con veno before, and had no trouble with my pet just assisting me, tanking, while I was the one doing most of damage. The only thing you need is some practice with aggro managing, and keeping your pet's skills (or at least one of them) at the highest lvl possible :cool:

I think the formula for aggro generated by a skill was 1000 x skill lvl + aggro for damage done, so every skill generates some aggro :cool:

You're getting some chi everythime you use any other skill or attack. It's also recharging when you cuddle :p

You need to have every skill from the tree branch from above the skill you want to learn learned at least at lvl 1.

you don't lvl up your pet taming -type skills by the venomancer npc, but by the pet master - the one who gave you your first pet etc. (pet taming option ;) )

what skill exactly are you talking about? Becouse if it's about pet taming, there's a quest for it on lvl 7 you've got to do, given by the pet skill master NPC ;)

I've never played an archer, but I think there are different types of ammunition for different types for ranged weapons...

You've got to "talk" to an mail-box NPC. They're usually near bankers

At lvl 30 you'll have antilope-like things that drop it quite nicely. If you can wait till then, don't waste time on enything else ;)

As most of the quests are abou killing XX of mobs, you shouldn't have problems with lvling 2-3 pets just by the way, till, lets say, late 40's/50's (this is as far as I went with my veno on my previous serv, and I kept 3 pets at my lvl without any additional grinding, always with exp-bars full before my lvl-up) Actually,…
