  • Before attempting this, I must warn you that installing a 3rd party driver is not something that will be supported by your video cards manufacture, and could be risky. That said: it sounds like the game simply does not like your ATI driver. That could be due to a specific feature within the driver (Probably correctable by…
  • I've read through this entire (Very long) topic, and have came to the following conclusions: It is extremely unlikely to be an issue with PW's server. (This is evident because you seem to be able to play better at later hours. An issue with the server would NOT improve due to local conditions.) Based on that alone - it can…
  • Compliments of Admin Surtr - noticed it in another post I read.

  • A crc error can have a number of causes. Sadly I've never seen AntiVirus programs being one of them. This isn't exactly my area of expertise however if i remember correctly: The cyclonic Redundancy Check (CRC check) is basically a bit of data that is used to varify the 1's and 0's that make up a given piece of data are…
  • Ack oops, i meant hit ctrl+c after it either finished, or gave you a few "Request timed out errors in a row - let it continue on until either of those two things happen. :)
  • I searched around a bit and was able to find PW's patch server's IP address. Although due to the nature of the error it looks like its most likely to be an issue with the games config files (Which i am not familier enough with to troubleshoot, hopefully an admin or someone more experienced with the game itself will be able…
  • Both of those links are exactly the same. ;p What version of windows are you using as well? Hopefully the other error will give me slightly more information - although I may be able to work with just that information if the errors are identical.
  • Normally bans like this are done automatically based on IP address's. Since Singapore is so close to Malaysia, its possible that you registered with a Malaysian ip address - which would effectively include you in the ban. I could be wrong - but that is the most likely reason.
  • Have you tried restarting your computer? It is likely that another instance of the game is 'stuck' running in memory. (IE: You closed the game, but it did not properly terminate the "elementclient.exe" process.) If restarting does not fix the problem then the quickest solution would be to uninstall/reinstall. Its possible…
  • It would be helpful to know what the error said. Either copy it here or take a screenshot of it. Even if it is in another language (Due to pw's origins) It can always be translated.
  • I promise that infection does not come from the game itself - at least not if the game is downloaded from www.perfectworld.com Based on the information provided from the link that you provided, that trojan originated around 2008, and was created to steal peoples user accounts/passwords for online games. That said, the most…
  • You can not get a virus by downloading perfect world. (at least not from the official link found here: http://www.perfectworld.com/download) I believe I remember seeing one topic from someone who's computer started automatically restarting itself after installing the game - but this is 1: an extremely isolated case based…
  • I understand what you mean - but it does not change that the colors I see are different then the colors that display in the "color" boxes. So far every "Special" clothing item appears on my computer as being exactly the same color as it is shown in the cashshop, regardless of its dyed color. Any resolution?
  • I've already verified there are clear color differences between what -I- see compared to what everyone else see's. IE: A green, brown, purple, and gray chain pants do not all look exactly the same. If its really necessary I'll have someone screenshot the differences - however this is a problem that has been reported in at…
