thats a really outdated box you got there average i7 processor machine ranges between $500 to $900 depending on whats in it mine's almost 3 yrs old now which is an i7 920 @ 2.67ghz that I got for $550 you can check prices at http://www.pricewatch.com to get an idea on what you want and your budget
