I have the same issues, but my virus program completely deletes the patcher file, adding it to firewall exceptions didnt work so I turned my software off, reinstalled and updated. After I turned the program back on, it deleted the patcher again. I can currently play, but I am not willing to reinstall and patch for 3 hours…
