I'm not playing anymore, but I'm lurking on the forums from time to time. Joined in July 2008, a couple of days after the forums opened. Before the first beta that happened in august 2008 iirc, and the game launch in early September 2008. At this time we had two admins on the forums : Orinj and Xarfox. The communication…

Back when i was playing on the Malaysian servers, before the PWI version's release, there was at least one asian version who also had this option. The Philippine's servers maybe, or the ones from VietNam, I don't remember exactly which one.
-
It's the weekend, and no one at PWI works in the weekend.
-
Ah yes, the malaysian servers.... I remember playing with you at that time in a French multi-gaming guild I forgot the name of. THAT was the fun times. b:bye
-
Don't worry! PWE is keeping an eye on all this!!!! Thanks Xarfox! Keep on the good work! http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=365942 b:chuckle

Ah, I understand better now, why they were all closed. But, as a moderator, you should be able to : - edit posts - delete posts - warn users - ban users from forums Unless PWI did not gave you such powers? Spoon once warned me about something I posted on the forum, but then, he was a CM, so he may has had more powers in…

If they need China PW to fix it, and based on how long it took PW China to fix previous game bugs in the past, you can expect Morai to stay offline a few months.
-
You can expect an unexpected database wipe and everything will be reset to 0 b:chuckle
-
The sad thing is that, no matter what they do, they don't loose a lot of players. And people still spend a lot of money on the game regardless of what happens. As long as it stays like that, nothing will change in the ways they manage the game.
-
That was probably the login server. I guess your path goes from your computer, to PWI login server (in USA), then back to Morai in Europe. I doubt they have separate login server for each server.
-
By the time the US staff will be back into office, the EU staff (if there is such thing as a EU PWI staff...) will have left for the day....
-
Oh? Because this is a (false) free to play game, they should be allowed to offer bad services? Many of us has/are spending money on this game. BTW, This is not a FTP, it's a Pay-to-Win game. As for applying to work as a coder for PWI, you would need to move to China for that. PWI don't do any coding. And seeing how badly…
-
Seeing how badly your team dealt with problems in the past, I would be very worried if I was a regular player on Morai server....
-
My favorite part was the dozens of +10 orbs some of us were able to put their hands on. It's nice to walk around with full +10 equipment!
-
With some luck, the janitor will hit the reset button by accident with his mop and everything will fix itself. (and I bet the janitor is more skilled than some of the current PWI staff members.)
-
PWI DON'T fix bugs fast anyway. Holidays or no holidays. Some would say PWI don't fix bugs. Period.
-
Do you guys seriously think that anyone from PWI is still reading this thread? No one is. They simply set it up to gather into one place all the complaints about their stupid mistake, so they can trash it to the lower depth later. YOU WANT TO COMPLAIN? FLOOD THEM WITH TICKETS! That way at least there are some chance they…
-
That was the good old times. For Xmas 2009, all those Xmas events were broken, IIRC. And they never came back.
-
My favorite quest chain is this year Santa's quests. So much fun!
-
STOP COMPLAINING!!!! we have SNOWMEN!!!! we have SNOW falling from the skies!!!!!! Why ask for more? Best PWI Xmas ever!!!!!
-
Great. Releasing an update ahead of time mean even less testing than the minimal one you were doing previously. That also mean we will see much more bugs appears than in the previous updates, updates that were already plagued with too numerous bugs. This still does not fix the injustice between those who got multiple +10…

Referring friends to PWI is the most efficient way to loose your friends.
-
Yes. They'll start selling soylent green food tablets next year.
-
You are quite an optimistic one to think Earth will still be an habitable planet in 800 years at the rate the human race is destroying it at the moment.
-
In that case yes, because you BOUGHT them. Lets say you have 100$ in your pocket. Lets say Blockbuster shares loose 25% in value, but you don't have any. Did you loose or gain any money? Lets say Blockbuster shares gain 25% in value, but you don't have any. Did you gain or loose any money? At best, you lost an opportunity…

You are the clueless one. You are treating the gold used in the cash shop as a currency. It's not. It's an item, or a convenience, or a service, like a piece of fashion, a mount or a DQ item. Like all items, it's price vary at the whim of those who sell it and those who want to buy it. The only game currency is the coin.…
-
He lost nothing. He would have lost money if he bought something at a certain price, and that the price of this item fell below the price he paid for it.
-
You lost NOTHING. You still have all your coins. It's not because something raise in price that you loose something. It's like saying that you have $20 and that you lost money because tomatoes are selling for 50 cents each this week while they were selling for 40 cents the previous week.
-
Mistake? Really? I'm more and more inclined to believe that the "redeem code glitch" was intentional....
-
Wishful thinking. PWE's past record show that they NEVER permabanned anyone. They did not even said they would ban them, they said they would punish them.
