I'm still not getting the idea of not adding to mana at all, but maybe I would understand if I had put all those points in Dex and had a much higher damage rate. . . maybe I need to start a new character.

I quit leveling this spell pretty low because I was put off by the low damage and long cast. I am now opening with vicious, then lightning, quickshot, and knockback in the time it would probably take to cast TA. That sometimes kills creatures before the get to me. I did not know however that TA's charge time goes down…
