at this point i would do a charge back and leave an upset comment. we pay for a service, if it isnt provided we have every right to request our money back, otherwise its theft...and im sure PWE doesnt want THAT on their heads.... ~death~

After several more restarts of my computer due to installing various other programs, it finally started working with the solution posted above...it seems my machine just took a bit longer for it to kick in then it should have :) thanks guys! ~death~

its not just him experiencing the low FPS, its nearly everyone IN this thread, so chalking it up to him having Vista x64 is not going to work :) if he chooses to use vista x64, thats his choice, but it wouldnt make a whole lot of difference if he was using x86 or even windows XP because he would STILL have the same low…

to be honest, i dont have a problem with the low FPS in cities, because its still manageable, i just hope that the full version (or even one past beta if thats how you choose to run it) has a more...up-to-date codebase. If not, ill still enjoy the game all the same :) ~death~

like someone else said, its probably because this game is older and not written in new code....i hate the fact that i get low FPS in cities, but for the most part its ok when im out in the wild...i guess it just comes down to perfection for some people. ~death~

this solution did not fix the issue. Im not sure about you, but i dont play many game that have this problem, it seems to be only PW :( ~death~
