Nice work reading my entire post. The very next sentence was "MMOs, particularly those marketed as F2P from asia, suck in these respects but that isnt an excuse for PWI to suck here too. "
-
This forces me to question if you have every played any other game. Most other games as commercially successful as PWI put bugfixes before new content, put out complete changelogs and has accountability for who says what. MMOs, particularly those marketed as F2P from asia, suck in these respects but that isnt an excuse for…

Pretty much everything to do with development of the game: bugs everywhere, slow fixes if they come at all, incomplete patch notes, no direct communication with the dev team, no prior warning on changes other than content packs. The crappy AH. The total dependancy on cash shop items to remain competative.
-
If the GMs/devs stopped adding items/sales that increase the value of gold the prices would go down its realy simple...
-
If only PWIs rules were consistent. Apply forum spamming rule to duke, banhammered. Id be surprised if this gets fixed in next patch, if ever. This is PWI after all.
-
One year on and PWI still hasnt figured out what patch notes are for.

Side effect of all the threads mods are deleting today.

PWI does not officially support linux, so they cant help you. Your best bet is the Perfect world page over at wine. I got a bug using wine: no armour, weapons or mounts. I lol'd. Havent fixed it.
-
Or sellers can be greedy and sell the same amount they normally do and make even more coin. Cause, you know, everyones really greedy.

How does an anthropamorphic panda turn into a tiger twice the size anyway?
-
So youre just going to ignore the so called swing players I outlined above? I have no real argument with the gist of what you wrote, clearly there are those that will and do pay, and those who cannot and do not. However, the situation is not so black and white. There are people in between. And there is also the question of…

Yes, regularly. Sometimes I get 5/5, but often fewer despite getting the mobs in ample time.

"Most" is groundless speculation. Regardless, there are those who are reluctant but able to charge zen. A higher gold price is great incentive.
-
You dont think people are more likely to charge zen if they can no longer afford to buy gold from AH?
-
High gold prices are good for PWE, dont expect them to go down.
-
Its a mystery.

People who want bots in PWI should check out http://progressquest.com/ (GMs and mods should check it out before banning me for advertising)

The game favours venos? Shock and horror.

Would have been nice to see perfect stone drops and other drop changes in the ****ing PATCH NOTES.

Probably never unless PWI finds a way to monetize it.

This thread offends me, please close it.

While we're somewhat close to the subject, comprehensive patch notes would be very welcome. There are lots of things like localisations, skill descriptions and effects, and probably optimisations etc that get changed without mention in the patch notes. Sure sometimes it gets mentioned right at the bottom, but its very…

I will continue to logon-dailies-logoff for a while and see when/if the content train delivers some worthwhile endgame stuff to do, that isnt as disastrously bug ridden as the rest of the game so far. For now Im back on my xbox when i have time to burn.

Nice work bluring the name in the world but leaving the name intact in the shop window b:chuckle

Not denying it. I bet some are making huge amounts via referrals or burning pockets, but the majority of the paying playerbase is not going to such extremes when most other popular P2P MMOs are $15 a month. Can the heavy gold sellers increase supply to match the new demand for gold? I really doubt it.
-
Only $35 a day? Thats well outside the scope of the majority playing this "F2P" game. What costs? People have been running CoF and RB regularly for XP for ages. Most were making money on their runs anyway. The coin box is an addition to what was the norm.
-
Sure, its ~196k per gold to break even, just rounding up. Its not difficult to pace yourself to match the number of boxes you gain from CoF and RB, which can be 6 a day from 1 of each (i think). Really, who would spend more than $5 per day on this game to open the CoF box? And an additional 1m a day would be considered…
