Just another thought. did you clear the mid-boss first? I have never seen the last boss area without clearing the mid-boss, but I guess it might be possible depending on layout of the cave. I've run into that boss twice. Both times the boss that took dmg alternated. In my experience, once one doesn't take dmg anymore start hitting the other one. I will say the second wind like buff they use is annoying. says it prevents death once, but it''s more like 20 timesb:chuckle

Though the cave says 50+ it is really 55-64 to start it. there are 3 lvl ranges(except the high lvl cave 95+), 55-64, 65-79, 80-94.
