  • its an old thread, but someone might find this usefull... after installing PWI on my win 7 comp pwi would not update. after checking the patcher.exe i saw that for some reason when pwi installed the win98 compatibility mode was enabled on the patcher? i simply unchecked it and applied changes.. bingo, pwi now works for me.
