I preferred the human one. It had a nice starting area, the questing was fast paced and entertaining starting out, and it gave a good sense of progression. After your first culti, you were basically transitioning to the cold snowy area. That gave it a somewhat bleak feeling while you finished up to getting to do the first…

There's been people who claimed that something they dropped when they died PK'ing means that they were scammed out of that item. And go on at length about how their PK'er is a scammer and going to get ticketed. Thing is, dumb kids play this game, and use words as insults without even understanding what is a scam, and what…

It's a needed material to make 13* orbs, they just haven't added the recipe to the Jewelcraftsmen. On another note, it ought to be interesting to see if any PvP'ers will get banned for trying to abuse the quest to get unaware victims for them to kill when they exit the instance. AoE auto-turns them pink named pk set.

Think there's a good chance many are like me, and thinking that they can get those in the 108 tower when it comes out. And if it does, it saves us the pointless aggravation of dealing with jerk offs. That's worth getting finalized just a little later than others.

Yeah, they are dropped in TT. Hasn't been much attention paid to them since packs came out, but was some great gear early on.
-
They were rewards since 2008, my cleric did that quest daily and gained a large amount of them.

Perigean Tide is making me want to focus on dual mag penetration adds on my astrolabe over spirit at the moment. Preigean can do a lot, but with 40% reduced mag def the combination should be rather devastating. That should help against most things, including against psys.

I just sold the 173 chests at 400k on my BM from running lots of Gamma/Delta back in the day, and have supply chests I plan on opening all the way to 80 on about 13 or so characters. Still have more chest of coins on my SB and cleric; so I really like how this event turned out :)

Yes, I know. And pretty much everyone knows, because it's not at all hard to figure out. You need 3 charges, obviously. And generating an opposing charge, means that they all need to be the same to have an opposing charge. Otherwise, it wouldn't be opposing. And the sage text only modifies an existing mechanic, which is…
-
Frozen isn't really misleading, since the text still says if you have 3 charges, it generates a charge of the opposite type. If it wasn't all one type, there really isn't an opposite one.

The other thing, is to test whether the detonate can still happen while someone is invulnerable. Since the DoT still goes off during that time to deal damage, it might possibly still deal damage when call lightning is used. And since most people want to ironguard/absolute when near dead, that would be the perfect time to…

Pretty much got the Thundersnow upgrade right away, as it read exactly as Joe posted in the preview thread. Bit less up front, for a much better over-all. That is worth it easily. Also Demon is mostly better at being a DoT, while sage is ideal for building up the stack and detonating. All depends how you want to use it.…

Nah, it was good back then because people would actually read things. There would just be the few argumentative idiots that it was better to avoid. Now people want to come on the forum, ask whatever because they are too lazy to look it up, and complain if people don't do their work for them in finding the info. And…

It's actually useful for finding the lower range of tokens gained. Because it does do disproportionate dispersal, the fact is the majority will be getting less than 100, since the OP players will get the lion's share of it. Which goes back to the decreased number of SoW popping up, except for the strong players hording…
-
Well damn, they screwed up all the alts getting the returning warrior to boost a main character for nothing then. Kind of sucks.
-
Thing people will realize, is that actually combats alts. One, they need to do enough to qualify for tokens, and increase presence decreases the chance they can afk their way through. Two, even if they do qualify, they now need to earn enough contribution to actually matter. Because they could go through all that for just…

It's why I was a bit annoyed with the one week warning of the merge, since I'd just used up tokens to make a reawakened Single Butterfly. But I made up for it by buying up SoW the week preceding the merge. Since tokens can't be bought or sold, and the increased number decreases the amount of people getting 50+, it means…

That comment would make sense, if quad jumping wasn't something SB, and only SB, are capable of. It might just be because they haven't worked out the mechanics of moving while casting properly; but due to the way it currently works, we are able to jump in between casts, and still channel and cast another spell. Happens to…

You completely misread what I wrote. It wouldn't even make sense from a pvp stand-point, as there would be no turning white name or blue name; it would be auto-white. I was pointing out how pvp won't be losing anything from what they have by merging into a PvE server, aside from a few things. But you'd think the marked…

Also, let the **** talking commence once cross server NWs happen with the new servers. One nation per server should make for the good old complaints of the old NW maps, of too many alts preventing OP players from ending base locks. Good times.
-
Then you chose the wrong game to play, because this game has been out since 2008. When one gold mat was worth 300 gold. Everyone who's been around that long can end game without having spent anything.
-
You guys make it sound like death is around every corner on pvp servers. Which is completely false. LC is dead. Just wandering around arch and farming spots shows that. Most are even new players, so picking areas farmed before hypers means there's no one around, ever. I bot on LC without issue, simply because there isn't…

Pretty sure I just learned Celestial Sword on my genie for the one quest, then unlearned it afterwards. Poof it and done.

I've got characters with multiple of the wraith lord, and around 5 that are 1 or 2 away from full set. And that's just with the recent batch of freebies from log in events and such the past few months. Though my 4th cleric is ridiculously lucky on those chests, and had 4/6 in just 20 opens. Still, only one account managed…

Honestly, when I came back from another long quit and started looking into the war avatar thing, the one thing that stuck out the most was how dumb the posters and information given about them was. Everyone was talking about A set this, and Candleflame that, and completely ignoring the B level 6 card set. And the reason it…

EU server is only as big as it is, because they had a merger a few years back as well. It's just now starting to hit over here, and some servers have more players going than others. No idea if it was planned, but seems some of the bigger population servers are merging with smaller population ones; though how much of the…

One thing I was thinking about, was clearing out the mailbox from all the things stored in it. Much harder to screenie each one of them, and depending how much people have become used to storing in there, could be some expensive items.

To clarify, a lot of the OP's arguments seem to be mostly about not knowing how to play. Just for a few, the CoF and NW parts. Cube is easy for me, since myself and a couple others mapped it out in 2008 and ran in basically daily back then. So making a mistake in any of the rooms, even after taking years off from doing…
