I believe you answered yourself with your last post... That being said, can you offer a reason as to why there CAN'T be a compromise made here? Sure there's the PK mode button, but that has a fair bit of red tape that most people just can't be arsed with. =/

Possible simple solution: Add an NPC at the entrance that 'activates' or 'deactivates' the free PK mode in Secret Passage for each individual player? Higher levels keep their PvP playground, and lowbies can go about their business in peace. =O

Pretty sure Pets don't benefit from stats added from buffs upon summon. Just from raw base(?)/equipment stats. Not to mention the fact that most of those buffs don't stack. >.>

Do you squad with Barbs often? Because their Devour has an effect that reduces attack level too (-10 attack levels at level 10, and lasts 4 seconds), so it may just be being overwritten. =O
