For me, I had the same problem (I work off of my Mac with Crossover Games) - noticed with my skills but didn't check my armor. Verifying didn't work(My client would freeze when I tried to verify files), I uninstalled and re-installed the entire thing and verified files while it was installing and it fixed it for me.

I really like the idea of the wizards floating a little bit off the ground. Would be awesome if they glided around like that all the time.
